If writing your own vows does not resonate with you:

I have written a lovely set of “Repeat After Me” vows that we can use.
Be sure to look into your Beloved’s eyes when you say these words,
and experience the dedication to Love that brought you here.

If You Write Your Own Vows

Your vows are the very heart of the Wedding Ceremony.

You vows are the promises you make to each other as you begin a new type of partnership in the great adventure of a life together.

In your vows,
you honor the highest possible ideals for
what your newly strengthened and committed relationship can hold.

This is when each partner speaks his or her heart.

I once waited for what seemed like 10 minutes as the Groom read at least 2 (Double-sided, tightly spaced) pages of his thoughtful, profound and sometimes funny declaration of love for his Bride. What a beautiful expression to witness!

Ten minutes might be a bit much for you. The vows can also be spoken quietly, for your partners ears only.
Make them your own.

Amid the hustle and bustle of preparing for The Big Day, it is important to pause and contemplate how important your Beloved is to you, and how dedicated you are to working for the success of your Marriage. Write down the sweetness your heart holds, and speak these thoughts to your Love during the Ceremony.

Points to Ponder

What do you cherish about your Partner? In what ways will you show your love when things get difficult? How will you remind your Best Self to show up in those challenging times? What will you bring to the Relationship to enhance your lives together? What will you contribute to helping those Dreams you share come true? Think about why you want to spend the rest of your life with this person, as a partner, a lover, and as a true friend.
